My education
My passion for the nutrition of dogs and cats began with Tala, my Czechoslovakian wolfdog, who inspired me to learn more and become increasingly aware of the importance of proper nutrition. This interest then took shape in 2017 with the creation of the Born Again Raw Feeders blog, a platform dedicated to scientific outreach on animal nutrition, with a particular focus on the raw BARF diet.
My academic journey further solidified this passion: I graduated with honors in Ecology and Ethology of Nature Conservation (LM6), specializing in ethology, from the University of Parma. In 2024, I completed my Master’s degree with honors in Nutrition and Clinical Dietetics of the Dog and Cat at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Teramo, presenting a thesis titled "Nutrigenetics, Nutrigenomics, and Nutraceuticals: Towards Precision Nutrition for Dogs and Cats".
My professional training has been further enriched by numerous continuing education courses in the field of nutrition, allowing me to continuously expand and refine my expertise.
My work experience includes a curricular internship in the Conservation Genomics Unit at the Edmund Mach Foundation in San Michele all'Adige, as well as a teaching role at the Belpark in Spormaggiore (TN), both of which have contributed significantly to my professional growth.
